What should I bring?

If you do not have any of the items listed below, please visit Pike County Outfitters prior to your charter. We will help you find everything you need.

Protective footwear is a must have.  Having the appropriate footwear for the season and weather conditions is crucial. Your shoes will get wet, so you should be prepared and pick footwear that will offer protection, traction, support, and comfort.

Extra layers and rain gear is recommended.  This will ensure you have enough protection if the weather changes or is bad from the start.  Wind-breaker jackets, nylon and poly-fiber fleece are recommended over cotton as they are more protective and dry faster.

Sun Screen and Hats are always recommended for many reasons.  Sunglasses can also help protect from UV rays, glare off the water, and eye strain.  Overall you will be able to see what you are doing and handle the fish better.

Food and Beverage.  We recommend packing a small cooler with energy rich food and water.  We want your head in the game!

Camera. You will want to show your friends what you caught.  We know most of you have cell phones, but you can also bring your DSLR or whatever is your go to.  Just be careful not to drop it in the water.  A strap and floatation device is highly recommended just in case.

Cash for parking your vehicle at the boat launch location.  Typically $7 for weekdays and $10 for weekend days.

What's the minimum age/weight for children?

All children must be over 50 lbs to ride on the charter jet boat.

What time of the year do you operate?

We operate year round, conditions permitting. In, 2019 we will only be offering weekday trips.
